During the past 15 years as Executive Chef, Paul Orchard has been instrumental in making Mangoes one of the most highly acclaimed restaurants in Key West. His eclectic blend of evolving world cuisines and emphasis on freshness, perfectly
compliment the relaxed and friendly atmosphere at Mangoes.


Orchard is inspired by local seafood and South Florida foods including, tropical fruits and fresh vegetables. His culinary creations are influenced by the exotic flavors found in the Caribbean and South America, though his technique is undeniably classic.


Originally from Provincetown, Massachusetts, Orchard is a celebrated chef whose successes include the world renowned cooking competition at the James Beard Foundation in New York City in 2000 – an honor that fewer than one percent of chefs in the world receive.

Orchard has also received top honors at a number of regional culinary competitions, including Key West’s Annual Master Chef’s Classic, where he won best entree, best appetizer and people’s choice.


Chef Orchard’s recipes have been featured in Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, Robb Report, Southern Living and Chile Pepper Magazine. He has also been featured on Food Network’s Food Nation with Bobby Flay and on Keith Famie’s Adventures.
