"This is a great relaxed place on Duval. From the time you arrive until you leave, and there is no rushing you to go, it is a relaxing place. Great selection of food and drinks. I have been there for both lunch and dinner several times and never had anything but great food

and service. I look forward to going there again when in Key West."

"I went to Mangoe's on Friday May 16th, 2008 with three girlfriends for our last dinner in Key West on vacation. We had a great waitress, she was so friendly and even talked with the chef regarding the dietary restrictions of one of our diners. Our food was fresh, healthy, and delicious. We had a spill of red wine at our table, and a manager appeared from the back room and even went out to get a Shout stain stick from his car for our friend! Another waiter stopped by to chat with us and he offered up opinions of some local places to visit after dinner, great suggestions. We were just so content and happy there we didn't realize it was encroaching on closing time, so we hurried to finish up. Our waitress had stayed an hour or so past her end time by choice and she was so sweet. The atmosphere of the restaurant and bar is so great, laid back, and charming. I recommend Mangoes for their location, vibe, and delicious food!"

"My husband and I were looking to kill some time before our Key West Express departed in early evening, so we stopped at Mangoes and sat at the bar under the fans on a hot day in June of 08. The very best part of this afternoon delight was the surprise appetizer that kicked a**.
It was the Mushroom Martini. It appeared in a martini glass filled 3/4 of the glass with sauteed mushrooms (of all kinds) and three bruschetta-style toast slices with melted cheese parked all jaunty in the glass. The hazelnut crusted goat cheese medallions added in the Wow factor. What a surprise jolt of flavor. Don't miss this standard Mangoes appetizer when you go.....it is amazing. Full flavored, well constructed, and absolutely delicious. Went well with a Sam Adams beer. Or two. Or maybe even three.

"We enjoyed the chicken wrap, shrimp bisque and yummy Key Lime Pie for lunch. Great place to people watch outside on the patio - relax and enjoy a cocktail and soak in KW. If you are not in any hurry we found it delightful although a bit spendy but hey, it's KW. If nothing else just have the Key Lime Pie!"

"My wife and I ate here on the advice of a local. Great advice. Sat outside with a great view of the craziness of Duval. Wanted about 5 things on the menu settled on the pecan snapper. It was excellent. Service was good and friendly. My wife had chicken that was good as well. For desert we wanted some ice cream, not on the menu but delivered with a "no problem" attitude. Definitely will go back."

"We have eaten here on several occasions while visiting KW and every time is a treat. I’ve yet to find something on the menu that was not delicious. The waiters/waitresses are always the best. Dining outdoors and watching the hustle and bustle of Duval only adds to its charm. I’m still waiting on Paul’s follow up cookbook (okay … wishing for one)."
